Dixie went to her forever home yesterday. Dad Bruce was unable to come. Mom
Patti and sister Carmen (an Italian Greyhound/Jack Russell Terrier mix) came
and Patti took the new sisters for a walk together. Carmen voiced her
displeasure a few times with the adoption of Dixie, but Mom Patti believes
that the girls will be the best of friends soon. Dixie certainly wanted to
be friends with Carmen and she took to her new Mom immediately. Dixie has a
fenced yard to play in and will go for several walks every day.
Patti sent the pics and an update today. Sounds like Dixie (now Pippa) will
be properly spoiled and well loved.
