Merri is a 6 year old Bichon mix, Puppy Mill survivor. She weighs about 10 lbs. She is up to date on all her vaccinations, Heartworm negative, spayed, microchipped, and has had a dental done. Merri is a friendly girl, gets along with other dogs and cats. Although Merri is 6 years old, she is very energetic.
She is partially housebroken, but with the very cold temperatures we had, I did have a hard time getting her to go out. Being Merri was in a Puppy Mill her first 6 years of her life, I do not crate her. She loves to sit in the window and watch to see what’s going on outside. She has gotten better with car rides, she still drools a little though.
She seems long for a Bichon so we are not sure if she is a mix. We haven’t had her on a leash, but she should adjust to it well. She would do best with a fenced in yard, but that’s not a deal breaker as long as she has a secure harness and leash.
